SCRIPTURE: Luke 5:1-11

This Sunday, Touchstone welcomed a new voice at worship, Pastor Bobby Faison, Executive Minister of The Community Church and Minister of Emmaus UCC in Washington DC. Pastor Faison serves on the Board of Directors for the Central Atlantic Conference of the UCC.

Guest Minister Faison proudly identifies as a Black man who believes that it is possible to love and serve God while at the same time acknowledging and expressing romantic love toward another man. Minister Faison seeks to conduct his life based on James 1:22 - "Do not merely listen to the word, do what it says." His goal is to glorify God in all that he does while at the same time being a blessing to the people that he encounters on life's journey.
