In a world filled with violence, war, sickness, and death, how can we find even just a small respite from the world as we know it? Some of us find it by keeping long-standing traditions – Christmas carols, trees and lights.  Some of us find it by breaking tradition. Some of us find it in just staying home. Some of us find no peace there at all.  We navigate this tension of comfort and unsettledness in this Season of Advent. In this second week of Advent, find a little peace. We have just a few more weeks to go before we arrive “home.”
