When King Solomon was given a chance to ask God for anything, he asked for wisdom so he could discern between good and evil when governing the people (I Kings 3:9). What a wise thing to do! Maybe you, too, have wished/prayed for wisdom when facing decisions.

This week, we will look into the book of Proverbs for some wise words for living. Some of them are contradictory…and some might make you bristle a bit…but I believe they have the capacity to really make us think. Lord knows, I could use some wisdom in navigating these days in which we live.

Please join us this Sunday as we go beyond the mere platitudes of proverbs embroidered on pillows to discover how they can help lead us to our fullest life guided by God’s wisdom.
